Oriflame Beauty Triple Core Lipstick in Ravishing Rose Review and Swatch

My Opinion on Oriflame Triple Core Lipstick:

Oriflame’s Triple Core Lipstick in Ravishing Rose is a peachy pink color on my lips it shows very neutral pink … it’s an everyday wear look. It’s really creamy because of the balm inside the core and can glide very smoothly..it clearly reminds me of Revlon’s Lip Butter in Pink Truffle (Can see the picture here) . Almost similar shades….but Oriflame’s Ravishing Rose have some silver shimmer in to it… The texture is quite velvety and rich that enables really good spread and application of the product . Staying power is just 2-3 hours without eating or drinking. The lipstick outer packing is similar to Lakme Absolute range.

Pros:

·        The color is rich and has a variety of shades to choose from.

·        Quite light weight.

·        Can be used with a Lip liner for just a sexy pout.

·        Easily available through websites like Snapitoday  / Oriflame Representatives.

·        I am fond of the shade, it would suit many skin tones

Cons:

·        I found it quite expensive

·        Staying power is just 2-3 Hours

·        I was not loving the packing... Moreover I found the packing very low quality.

·        Precise color shade is not visible through the outer packing.

.        For a visible color 2-3 Swipes is a must.

Final Verdict:

Since i am fond of neutrals and nudes i loved this shade..but found it too expensive.

My Opinion:

It has a matte formula not a shiny lip stuff, quite creamy and the lipstick runs smoothly, the staying power is for 3-4 hours although it definitely doesn't last long, specifically after you eat or drink something.These are super pigmented and give almost full coverage in 1-2 swipes. These do give a little shine to the lips since they are creamy but there is no shimmer at all. 

This color really depends on what you're wearing it with, if you are wearing black or any dark colors, then it would awaken you and would give a great pop of color but if you are wearing it with lighter colors then I would be unpleasant and very unnatural-looking shade of coral.

For me these shades look good in winters or fall but not in summers or spring.

And here I have applied Revlon Super Lustrous Lip-gloss in Shade 20 Cherries in the Glow

I have been using Revlon Super Lustrous Lip-gloss in Shade 20 Cherries in the Glow since long and this particular lip-gloss can be applied by itself also..Sometimes if in a hurry even if I am not applying any Lipsticks I just apply this gloss and it really gives my lips super glossy finish. I am gonna continue to buy that product. It’s a bit expensive for a gloss but I really get compliments after applying it.

My Likes on Lipstick:

Large number of shades available in it, suiting all age groups and skin tones

The formula is quite creamy

No shimmer but gives a shine due to the creamy formula

Love the Packaging

Easy available Worldwide

My Dislikes on Lipstick.

It tends to dry my lips so I need to apply a lip gloss on top of it or a coat of lip balm first

Not Long Lasting

Bit Expensive

Would I recommend:

Yes, everyone should include at least one shade of these lipsticks in your vanity.

Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter - Red Velvet review and swatch

It seems today I am going to review only lipsticks. My lipstick collection consists of a lot of reds, corals, nudes and neutrals. So, here is one product which is most commonly used and loved by millions of people. It’s the product from my favorite brand Revlon.

I am sure by now everyone is familiar with my love and affection for the brand which means that all the products made-up by this brand is better than the previous one and you cannot get enough of it.

Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter – 040 Red Velvet

What Revlon Says:

My opinion:

This is a beautiful deep, creamy red that I think could work on both warm and cool tone skin colors. I think this is a really pretty color, a neutral red, which is hard to find. Believe me. This is not very long lasting. This color will probably suit almost all complexions -- I think it is gorgeous & suits my olive/pale skin (& brown hair; brown or green eyes).

My Likes:

·         Nice deep red

·         Buildable color it isn't drying and it doesn't settle into the cracks of your lips like most matte lipsticks do

·         The color is gorgeous and rich.

·         The formula is mouth-watering and moisturizing!

·         It's like a gloss and a lipstick all in one. 

·         High class casing with quilted-pattern tube.

·         No scent.

My Dislikes:

·         I needed to touch up after few hours, but I didn't expect this to be long-lasting anyway since it's a tinted balm.

·         Bit expensive for product which is not long lasting.

·         The consistency of this lip balm is quite soft; do not expose it to [too much] heat or it will get really messy

Would Recommend:

I give Revlon an extra star for making these lipsticks because it has no taste and smell.
I love Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters since for people with lighter lips can use them as a lipstick and for people like me with pigmentation on their lips can use this both as a lipstick and a lip gloss. I say it’s a must have makeup product!

What I love:

·         It gives a sheer wash of color that can be built to even out the pigmentation of your lips.

·         It's got a light sweet scent and a little bit of superfine shimmer that you can't feel.

·         The colors are so pretty that It brightens up my skin texture and makes me look more awake.

·         It looks even prettier with gloss on top

What I hate:

·         I am not sure but these variants of Revlon are not available in India

·         I don't like the packaging much though, they are longer and slightly slimmer than most regular lipsticks .

Would I recommend?

These are a fairly good standard lipstick, moreover there is nothing extraordinary & super amazing.
I'd buy again, but only some selective.

Hope you are doing fantastic!!! It’s almost a week now I have been away, but I am back for good!! Before going for a trip I had done a post on Max Factor MiniHaul, so today I am reviewing the products from the same haul.

Max Factor Colour Elixir Lipstick in Shade no 853 Chilli

 My Opinion on the Product:

The Lipstick  is really very much pigmented, it does moisturize the lips and seems to give an orangey pink finish on my lips, while picking up the product and doing a swatch on my wrist, I thought it would be red with a orangey tint in it.

It has some shimmers but those are not much visible in day light.

Max Factor Colour Elixir lipsticks are available in 15 shades and cost a very reasonable.

The lipstick consistency is lovely, not sticky or dry but a nice texture that glides onto your lips

What I love about this lipstick:

1.      It goes on smoothly and evenly, not too creamy and smudgy, but also not dry.

2.      Doesn't get much drier over time, like a lot of lipsticks do.

3.      Doesn't smudge or bleed during wearing.

4.      Inexpensive

          Pics Removed in Sunlight

 What you might not find so great about it:

1.      It has somewhat sweet smell to it, which some people might not like.

2.      The colour choice is a bit restricted a lot of similar shades.

3.      Not really Long-lasting whereas i am now looking for long lasting ones.

Would I recommend?

As for this lipstick, it's a sheer, moisturizing that became my go-to lip product for a couple days of the trip. It’s well worth the money. I'm getting Rosewood for daytime, and then stocking up on both. :)
