MaXFactor MasterpieceMAX High Volume & Definition Mascara Review and Swatch

Hope you are doing great. I would be reviewing today my all time favorite cosmetic product which is Mascara and it is from MaXFactor and called as MasterpieceMAX High Volume & Definition Mascara

Friends this is my first Gel Mascara, I got this sample product in a gift bag kind of thing, & I just began using it lately, and I must say, I will go out and buy this product in the full size, it's just amazing and thought of sharing the review of it. J

My Opinion on MasterpieceMAX High Volume & Definition Mascara

Since I got this as a gift it is too tiny (5.3 ml) (sample size). It comes in Gel formulation. The mascara has a fiber brush that is extremely good at coating your lashes with the product and at the same time separating them. Normally we wiggle a lot to separate our lashes but here I dint give any effort because the wand is very nice and easy to use. As you can in the picture it is dome shaped wand which helps us curl our baby lashes at the start and end of the eye. The consistency is not too liquid and not too thick... I have naturally fine but long eyelashes hence I don’t use an eyelash curler so I found that ALOT of mascaras clump on me. I usually apply 2 to 3 coats of the mascara, my lashes look extremely natural. Here in this case you don´t have to use eye make-up remover with oil and don´t have to rub like crazy to get this off….But people who are looking for a dramatic effect can avoid this. Its sort of a standard black mascara that doesn't flake or give you raccoon eyes, gives you definition/length/volume and holds a decent curl.

 

My Likes:

·         Gel consistency is super awesome.

·         The packaging is very much like "Max Factor" with gold and black finish.

·         It comes in 3 Variants i.e. Black / Brown Black / Deep Blue

·         When applied, it gives me dark, defined and perfectly separated lashes..

·         Its available in waterproof

·         The wand (Called as High Tech IFX Brush) which comes in it is quite easy to hold and it evenly coats individual lashes, even those hard to reach ones at the corner of your eyes and for lower lashes as well since it has got perfect dome shaped brush.

My Dislikes:

·         I am not sure about the availability in India

Would I recommend MasterpieceMAX High Volume & Definition Mascara:

Yes of course…I know ladies do wish to have beautiful eyes and mascara plays the important role into it…so try this one and I assure you won’t regret buying it.

LBA Rating:

4.5/5 (The reason I am rating it as 4.5 is …I believe it’s works excellent for me but there are products which can be unbeatable and which I can attempt giving a try in near future.)

Maybelline Volum’ Express Colossal Waterproof Mascara

How have you been??? Finally Sunday is coming to an end, fresh new week starting from tomorrow..So Excited.. Anyways I am ..coz the coming days are gonna be a little special for me.

So today we are gonna speak something about Eyes. Eyes are often conceived as a “window to the soul” and are an important part of our personalities and character.

Beautiful and gorgeous eyes are every woman’s nightmare. When thinking of eye make-up how can one overlook the mascara? Here comes my review for the day. MASCARA .When mascara is applied to the eyelashes, it not only thickens them but also opens up the eye and gives the eyes a more wide and wakeful effect.

I am such a mascara junkie so I'm always on the lookout for a new product that works. I always wanted mascara that would give me BIG lashes.

Product I am gonna review now is Maybelline Volum’ Express Colossal Waterproof Mascara

Let’s begin with what Maybelline Claims

Maybelline Volum’ Express Colossal Waterproof Mascara comes in a glam black shade. This water-resistant mascara uses waterproof collagen formula that will prevent the eyelashes from losing the dark black color by sweat, tears or even the rain. The mega brush creates a 7X volume instantly and gives complete coverage to all the lashes and makes them look lush and stunning.

This smudge-proof Mascara from Maybelline is ophthalmologist-tested and also made sure to be safe for use while wearing contact lens. Applying the Maybelline Volum’ Express Colossal Waterproof Mascara will make your eyes look big, the lashes thick and dark and give your eyes a very plush and lovely look.

Price: Rs. 330 for 10 ml

My Take on the Product:

Let’s begin with the outer part, The yellow color is very attention-grabbing and at the same time the shape of the plastic container is cylindrical/oblique which is striking.

It comes in 2 options – 1) Washable one and 2) Waterproof one.

Coming to the functional Part

The brush is Colossal i.e. HUGE which is the most important part of what it’s going to do with your lashes. The wand is actually ah-may-zingg at separating and volumizing your lash. According to me it has a thick stick so one needs to be cautious while coating the inner lashes and lower lashes.

It sometimes does shed black flakes at the ends of the lashes. The consistency is neither too thick nor too liquidy or Runny.  Just perfect!! Moreover it dries super fast.

For me a single coat applied on the lashes gives a natural look & multiple coats give a dramatic look. But I normally go for 2 coats.

I think it gives just the right amount of definition, without giving you that 'spider-lash' look. 

Overall, I like this mascara.

I've found that most waterproof mascara's do the waterproof job but don't give a good look. This mascara looks awesome on my lashes and it's surprising easy to take off. You can use a baby oil or Olive oil to remove or Maybelline’s MakeupRemover does a great job too.

All in all, this has become my go-to mascara for everyday

Would I recommend?

I definitely love this piece of product from Maybelline…but I really would love to try some other brands like Rimmel, Revlon and Make Up forever.
