Friends today i am gonna share my fav product with you i.e Lipgloss. It’s from Revlon Colorburst Range and the Shade is 024 Gold Dust

Product Details:

 My Opinion on Gold Dust:

·         The shade is a proper Nudish/Beige with some sparkles in it. It turns orangey shade on me.

·         It has no smell and taste also the formula is not sticky

·         It does last for couple of hours and leaves a Nudish stain behind but with no gloss, so I have to keep retouching to get that glossy finish on my lips.

·         The packaging is slender and well-designed, with a semi-matte black cap with a transparent tube which shows the shade perfectly.

·         The wand has a small sponge applicator brush which picks up good amount of product.

·         I usually love Nude /Natural colors with pink or brown undertone.

·         With this shade I had also applied a very light Lip Liner just to define my lips properly.

·         I personally believe that this shade would be perfect on any Nude Lipstick or with Revlon Color stay Smooth Nude Shade.

 Pros:

·         Its available universally

·         Comes in many variants

·         Very handy due to its design,quite slim.

·         No smell and taste

·         Glides quickly and not sticky at all.

Lip Swatch

Cons:

·         Quite Expensive

·         Leaves some sparkles behind which I don’t like

·         Its not a clear gloss.

·         Major con of this product is , it cannot be applied as a lipgloss on any lipstick coz It would change the color of your lipstick from the actual shade to some gold finish look.

Recommendation :

I would recommend this shade particularly for those who like nude lips with an illusion of sparkles.

My Opinion:

It has a matte formula not a shiny lip stuff, quite creamy and the lipstick runs smoothly, the staying power is for 3-4 hours although it definitely doesn't last long, specifically after you eat or drink something.These are super pigmented and give almost full coverage in 1-2 swipes. These do give a little shine to the lips since they are creamy but there is no shimmer at all. 

This color really depends on what you're wearing it with, if you are wearing black or any dark colors, then it would awaken you and would give a great pop of color but if you are wearing it with lighter colors then I would be unpleasant and very unnatural-looking shade of coral.

For me these shades look good in winters or fall but not in summers or spring.

And here I have applied Revlon Super Lustrous Lip-gloss in Shade 20 Cherries in the Glow

I have been using Revlon Super Lustrous Lip-gloss in Shade 20 Cherries in the Glow since long and this particular lip-gloss can be applied by itself also..Sometimes if in a hurry even if I am not applying any Lipsticks I just apply this gloss and it really gives my lips super glossy finish. I am gonna continue to buy that product. It’s a bit expensive for a gloss but I really get compliments after applying it.

My Likes on Lipstick:

Large number of shades available in it, suiting all age groups and skin tones

The formula is quite creamy

No shimmer but gives a shine due to the creamy formula

Love the Packaging

Easy available Worldwide

My Dislikes on Lipstick.

It tends to dry my lips so I need to apply a lip gloss on top of it or a coat of lip balm first

Not Long Lasting

Bit Expensive

Would I recommend:

Yes, everyone should include at least one shade of these lipsticks in your vanity.

Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter - Red Velvet review and swatch

It seems today I am going to review only lipsticks. My lipstick collection consists of a lot of reds, corals, nudes and neutrals. So, here is one product which is most commonly used and loved by millions of people. It’s the product from my favorite brand Revlon.

I am sure by now everyone is familiar with my love and affection for the brand which means that all the products made-up by this brand is better than the previous one and you cannot get enough of it.

Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter – 040 Red Velvet

What Revlon Says:

Gives balm like feel to lips, making lips feel soothed, pampered, and conditioned

My opinion:

This is a beautiful deep, creamy red that I think could work on both warm and cool tone skin colors. I think this is a really pretty color, a neutral red, which is hard to find. Believe me. This is not very long lasting. This color will probably suit almost all complexions -- I think it is gorgeous & suits my olive/pale skin (& brown hair; brown or green eyes).

My Likes:

·         Nice deep red

·         Buildable color it isn't drying and it doesn't settle into the cracks of your lips like most matte lipsticks do

·         The color is gorgeous and rich.

·         The formula is mouth-watering and moisturizing!

·         It's like a gloss and a lipstick all in one. 

·         High class casing with quilted-pattern tube.

·         No scent.

My Dislikes:

·         I needed to touch up after few hours, but I didn't expect this to be long-lasting anyway since it's a tinted balm.

·         Bit expensive for product which is not long lasting.

·         The consistency of this lip balm is quite soft; do not expose it to [too much] heat or it will get really messy

Would Recommend:

I give Revlon an extra star for making these lipsticks because it has no taste and smell.
I love Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters since for people with lighter lips can use them as a lipstick and for people like me with pigmentation on their lips can use this both as a lipstick and a lip gloss. I say it’s a must have makeup product!

What I love:

·         It gives a sheer wash of color that can be built to even out the pigmentation of your lips.

·         It's got a light sweet scent and a little bit of superfine shimmer that you can't feel.

·         The colors are so pretty that It brightens up my skin texture and makes me look more awake.

·         It looks even prettier with gloss on top

What I hate:

·         I am not sure but these variants of Revlon are not available in India

·         I don't like the packaging much though, they are longer and slightly slimmer than most regular lipsticks .

Would I recommend?

These are a fairly good standard lipstick, moreover there is nothing extraordinary & super amazing.
I'd buy again, but only some selective.

Revlon Just Bitten Balm Stain in Lovesick Pasionee

Hey Ladies,

Hope you all are doing well!! How did the Monday after a long weekend go? Mine passed really fast...Everyone now days are wild about Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stains. Revlon has come up with some pretty new and vibrant shades. So my pick of the day is Love Sick Passionnee.

Product I am gonna review now is Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm stain 020-Lovesick Passionnee I have also got one more shade i.e. Crush Beguin (Click here for the review)

Let’s begin with what Revlon Claims

Company Claims:

·         It's a pampering balm fused with a lightweight lip stain in an adorable chubby crayon. 

·         Just Bitten Kissable ™ Balm Stain gives softer, smoother lips with a perfect flush color that lasts hour after hour.

Price: Rs 600/- for 0.09 oz (2.7 g)

My Take on the Product:

I actually went to buy Honey but was not available Perhaps this was the color I chose.The color of this shade is bright pink on my lips...i love this color but when I saw the packaging I thought it would be a bit lighter than it actually is.

As said earlier also the fragrance is sort of Minty, a menthol types which lightens in few mins.

The stick is quite easy to apply, since it is a stain so we have to apply it properly just to ensure that you stay within your lip line.

The formula is light, moisturizing and quite easy to wear; you can easily find the dupes of this color.

I have a bit of a love hate rapport with stains - I love their staying power and their color durability. But i don't like the way they can dry out your lips and leave a kind of patchy look as the color descends into dry spots.

I actually favor having the stain and balm in two separate applicators. Though I do love products that come in these handy crayon like containers, they are just so travel friendly also no lip liner is required for these stains.

Would I recommend?

I definitely would as I myself was trying to lay my hands on the shade Honey…but I really would love to try some other brands like Maybelline and Color bar.
