Nivea Gentle Eye Make Up Remover Review

How are you all doing?? Today I am sharing my thoughts on Nivea Makeup Removers. Last week I had bought two of these products from Nivea, apart from Body Lotion’s, Creams & Deo’s I have never ever tried its Make-Up Remover, I was actually the follower of MNY Makeup Remover and I had gone to get that but unfortunately it was not available in the store and luckily I got to use this fab product from Nivea.

It was available in 2 Variants

1.    Nivea Gentle Eye Make Up Remover

2.    Nivea Double Effect Eye Make Up Remover

Today I am reviewing the first one Nivea Gentle Eye Make Up Remover 

Let’s see what company claims about it:

Nivea Gentle Eye Make Up Remover has been carefully formulated by the Nivea Laboratories to gently yet thoroughly remove eye make-up without stinging or irritating the delicate eye area. The light, non-greasy lotion with ProVitamin B5 allows you to reapply your make-up immediately if desired.

* Oil free;
* Opthalmologically tested, so suitable for use on the delicate eye contour area;
* Dermatologically approved

Price: 2.5 Rials (Approx 350-400 Rs) for 125 ML (Made in Germany)

How to Apply:

Shake well before usage. Apply to a cotton pad and gently cleanse the eye area from the inner to the outer side of the eyes. No rubbing needed. Also suitable for contact lenses wearers.

My Opinion on the Nivea Gentle Eye Makeup Remover:

The Nivea Gentle Eye Makeup Remover comes in a matte light blue bottle, the formula is Oil Free and it is transparent, watery texture, very light weighted and it does removes washable eye shadows and mascara’s. This one is not good on waterproof cosmetics, I tried on my Waterproof MNY Eyeliner but even after 3-4 swipes it wasn’t removed completely. It is good for those who are not using much of waterproof cosmetics. It has a mild fragrance of a Body Lotion.

Pros:

• Its Light Weighted, Oil free
• Comes in a good quantity
• Easily Available
• Good for Sensitive Eyes

In the above pic i have used Washable Makeup and Not Waterproof

Cons:

• Not efficient for water proof or long lasting makeup
• Expensive

Review of Maybelline Eye and Lip Makeup Remover

Hope you are doing fine. I really love all my Maybelline Products, so here i am again doing a review on this Maybelline Eye and Lip Makeup Remover. 

What Maybelline Eye & Lip Makeup Remover Claims :-

• A non greasy makeup remover that quickly and easily removes waterproof makeup wthout harsh rubbing. P
• Efficient and easy – this forumla instantly removes all eye and lip makeup, even waterproof and non transfer. P
• Gentle – Formulated for sensitive eyes it is very gentle for the delicate skin around the eyes. P
• Ophtalmologically and Dermatological tested.

Price: Rs 215 for 70ml

Features:

An original, bi-phased that means it has both oil and water. You need to shake it for both to mix and it effectively removes even waterproof makeup without irritating the eyes. It has the formula that safely and smoothly dissolves waterproof mascara, eye makeup and lip, completely cleansing without oily residue. Fragrance-free and non-irritating.

I just put some on a cotton pad and gently swipe twice or thrice on my eye lids and the makeup slides off onto the pad. It does not take long to get it all off effortlessly. After that, I cleanse my face to make sure the rest of the makeup is removed. I always use it when I have waterproof/smudge proof eye makeup on.

Just an experiment below, below i have used my Maybelline Waterproof Mascara, i have swiped it twice.

Now i took a very little product on my Cotton Pad and swiped it twice and you can see the results, it turned out clean without any smudging.

 Pros:

• It is very affordable and the bottle is cute and travel friendly
• This is a good everyday makeup remover, though, and I will definitely repurchase
• Non Greasy
• Good for sensitive and nonsensitive eyes.
• Cannot be used for the facial makeup , has to be done separately.
• It does not clean off my mascara in just one stroke, but it cleans it faster and easier when compared to any other make-up removers that I tried. Will continue using it.

      Cons

• A pump would definitely be preferred, but overall an inexpensive and effective product.
• It does takes a few swipes to completely remove makeup.
