Hope you all are having a great weekend .Sunday Funday is about to get over. Today I am gonna review one of the most raved product NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil. 

My Shade is NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil  - Purple Velvet 623A

NYX Cosmetics Jumbo Eye Pencil Shadow Liner .A radiant eye liner that also doubles as an eye shadow. Made with a blend of mineral oil and powder, our creamy Jumbo Eye Pencils glide on effortlessly—no pulling, tugging or fading—and come in a rainbow of vivid hues. Some call her chubby. We say voluptuous. Available in 32 shades.

Ingredients:

My Opinion:

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil is a much hunted product, my shade is 623A Purple Velvet which is a Glossy Purple Shade with a grey Undertone, It has a creamy, non-crease formula that glides on smoothly and can be used as both an eye shadow and an eye liner. These Jumbo pencils are opaque and can to be used as a base underneath the eye shadows.

The texture of Jumbo Eye Pencil is slightly sticky but being a cream formula it’s easily blendable. It comes in a plastic white tube with all the details from Made in to the ingredients which I loved. Transparent Cap/Top helps us to identify the product easily. If applied by itself it lasts for about 2 hours..Because it smears away, therefore to maintain the color it’s always advisable to use a shadow on it. If your eye shadow is not pigmented as required try to use these as a base and it would look awesome.

Pros:

·         Base for the eye shadows or pigments

·         Does not crease or dry out

·         Apply it lightly for a wash of color by blending with a finger, under the eyeshadow.

·         Creamy texture highly pigmented, some shades are perfect for the waterline to open up your eyes.

·         Is available in an astounding array of shades for day and night as well.

·         Jumble an eye shadow and eye liner all-in-one

·         NYX is a Cruelty free cosmetics brand.

Cons:

·         Major con for me is I don’t have a sharpener. L, wish to get it soon.

·         Lasting power is poor if applied by itself also it leaves a stain behind.

In the below pic, the sunlight is directly on my Eyes hence it is looking more Pinkish whereas in the above pic , i am a bit far away from my window.

Products i have used to create above look : I have used NYX Jumbo Pencil Purple Velvet as a base ,Pinkish Purple Eye shadow from Inglot Shade no 386 for this Look., Colossal Kajal, Maybelline Gel Eye Liner and Colossal Mascara.

Recommendation:

Yes I highly recommend this product there are also other shades which are worth trying Black Bean, Slate, Yogurt and Milk (Milk is definitely the highest selling Jumbo Pencil )
