Papaya has many health benefits and is of huge medicinal value. Almost all parts of it, including the fruit, the seeds, stem and leaves, are used for medicinal or therapeutic purposes.
Papaya is rich in potassium and Vitamin A. While Potassium is good for the bones, Vitamin A is essential to maintain good eyesight. Papaya contains a protein called papain, which is essentially a digestive enzyme. Papaya is also rich in Vitamin C, that helps strengthen the immune system. Papaya also has anti-cancer properties.
You can either eat the fruit or make it into a delicious smoothie! Papaya extracts are used in a variety of face washes and facial scrubs and as a Hair Mask too.
On Skin
Papaya mixed with honey can make a nourishing, skin-brightening mask.
The ripe fruit can also be mixed with coarse salt and used as a skin brightening exfoliating rub.
Likewise, clay mixed with papaya creates an oil-drawing mask for the face and body
On Hairs
Some experts recommend adding fresh papaya to the diet as a natural remedy for thinning hair. Hair stylists sometimes advise clients with fine and thin hair to consume this fruit daily to achieve fuller, thicker hair.
Mashed Half papaya with some olive oil (amount of oil depends on how dry your hair is) and a teaspoon of honey. Apply to damp hair and leave on as long as you like. Rinse, then shampoo out excess oil if necessary.
Thank you so much for taking your time and reading my post and I hope this piece of advice would definitely help you.
